History, Facts and Overview
(Bodrum, Mugla, Turkey)
Dating back to the mid-1990s, Milas Bodrum International Airport spent many years being planned and discussed prior to its construction. A site was chosen between Milas and Bodrum, close to Gulluk, Korukoy, Akyol and Dorttepe. Today, the airport features two terminals and a hard-surface runway measuring around 3,000 metres / 9,840 feet in length.
Facilities at Milas Bodrum Airport include a bureau de change, several ATMs and information desks. Shopping options are slim, although there is a café selling a choice beverages and snack foods.
Car rental agencies are thoroughly represented in the airport, with desks for Hertz, Avis, and National, amongst many others. Car park facilities include both short-term and long-term options, which are just a short walk from the airport terminal itself.
